Bulletin details

At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Royal Gorge, or 33 miles southwest of Colorado Springs, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Heavy rain, wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cripple Creek and open country of north central Fremont and southwest Teller Counties.
