Bulletin details

At 239 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles northwest of Trinchera, or 18 miles east of Trinidad, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, brief half inch hail and torrential rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Quick runoff from heavy rainfall could cause ponding of water on roads and quick rises in area streams, creeks and normally dry washes. Locations impacted include... Trinchera.
