Bulletin details

At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Aguilar, or 24 miles northwest of Trinidad, moving west at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, brief pea size hail and torrential rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locally heavy rain may cause washouts on secondary roads, and ponding of water on paved road surfaces. Locations impacted include... Spanish Peaks and Gulnare.
