At 1050 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Bethune, or 13 miles northwest of Burlington, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Yuma and northeastern Kit Carson Counties, including the following locations... Hale. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 192 and 217.
