At 654 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an outflow boundary ahead of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Darien to near Centerport to Huntington Station to Amityville to near Jones Beach to 10 miles south of Lido Beach. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Islip, Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Brentwood, Milford, Commack, Huntington Station, Centereach, Deer Park, Lindenhurst, Medford, Massapequa, Hauppauge, and Ronkonkoma.
