At 740 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from American Legion Bridge to Fairfax to near Centreville. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Arlington, Alexandria, Centreville, Bethesda, Reston, Annandale, Springfield, College Park, Fort Washington, Herndon, Greenbelt, Fairfax, Langley Park, Fort Hunt, Vienna, Groveton, Falls Church, Huntington, Coral Hills, and Bladensburg. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 in Maryland between mile markers 1 and 4, and between mile markers 18 and 20. Interstate 270 in Maryland between mile markers 1 and 3.
