At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Charlotte County Airport to near Punta Gorda to 8 miles northwest of Palmona Park. Movement was west at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Cape Coral, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Charlotte County Airport, Burnt Store Marina, Pirate Harbor, Solana, Tropical Gulf Acres, Harbour Heights, Charlotte Park, Cleveland, and Charlotte Harbor.
