At 312 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Indrio, moving east at 20 mph. Additional strong storms were developing across the interior near Carlton and Tradition. These storms will push off of the coast through late afternoon. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated....

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. When thunder roars, go indoors!

Bulletin details
At 312 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Indrio, moving east at 20 mph. Additional strong storms were developing across the interior near Carlton and Tradition. These storms will push off of the coast through late afternoon. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Port Saint Lucie, Walton, Fort Pierce, Stuart, and Saint Lucie Nuclear Power Plant.
