HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects....

What the bulletin says to do

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Havana to 13 miles northeast of Tallahassee. Movement was south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tallahassee, Tallahassee State College, Florida State University, Midway, Havana, Florida A and M, Quincy, Doak Campbell Stadium, Lake Bradford, Cody, Gaither Community Center, Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Florence, Walker Ford Community Center, Jamieson, Miccosukee, South City, Griffin Heights, Governors Square Mall, and Midtown.
