At 658 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Du Pont to near Quitman to 8 miles northwest of Monticello to near Havana. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tallahassee, Monticello, Tallahassee State College, Florida State University, Lakeland, Valdosta, Lake Park, Florida A and M, Quitman, Havana, Thomasville, Hahira, Boston, Doak Campbell Stadium, I-75 At Exit 16, Moody Air Force Base, Remerton, Meigs, Dasher, and Greenville.
