At 355 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud over Big Cypress Seminole Reservation, or 25 miles south of Montura, moving northeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Funnel clouds, wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph, and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts.
