Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Persons participating in outdoor activities should seek sturdy shelter until this storm passes. Open shelters found in parks, beaches, or golf courses offer no protection from the dangers of lightning.

At 422 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout 9 miles northwest of The Acreage, or 12 miles west of Palm Beach Gardens, moving southwest at 5 mph. HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... West Palm Beach, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Pahokee, Royal Palm Beach, North County Airport, Loxahatchee Groves, Lion Country Safari Park, The Acreage, Fremd Village-Padgett Island, Loxahatchee NWR, and Caloosa.
