At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Macdill Air Force Base, or 8 miles east of Downtown Saint Petersburg, moving north at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tampa, Clearwater, Temple Terrace, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, Dade City, Hudson, Lutz, Brandon, St. Petersburg, St. Leo, Hillsborough River State Park, New Port Richey East, Zephyrhills South, Palm River-Clair Mel, Tampa International Airport, East Lake-Orient Park, Zephyrhills West, Land O Lakes, and Egypt Lake-Leto.
