Bulletin details

At 620 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Bartow to 16 miles west of Ona to near Myakka City to near Lake Sarasota. Movement was south at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... North Port, Myakka River State Park, Medulla, Myakka City, Lake Sarasota, Mulberry, Bradley Junction, Homeland, Osprey, Gator Creek Estate, Lake Manatee State Park, Myakka Head, Laurel, Oscar Scherer State Park, Fort Lonesome, Warm Mineral Springs, Lake Suzy, Hidden River, Nokomis, and Duette.
