At 607 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Avon Park to 12 miles west of Venus. Movement was southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sebring, Avon Park, Wauchula, Lake Placid, Sweetwater, Fort Meade, Zolfo Springs, Lake Josephine, Placid Lakes, Avon Park Executive Airport, Crewsville, and Sebring Shores.
