At 813 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Bell, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, half inch hail, and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Locations impacted include... Trenton, Bell, and Branford.
