At 711 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Darien to 7 miles southeast of Hickox. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Locations impacted include... Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Woodbine, Dock Junction, Country Club Estates, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, St Simons Island Village, Waverly, and Tarboro.
