At 330 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Lake Spivey, or near Jonesboro, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...40 mph wind and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially in poor drainage areas. Locations impacted include... McDonough, Jackson, Jonesboro, Stockbridge, Hampton, Lovejoy, Locust Grove, Flovilla, Jenkinsburg, Lake Spivey, Blacksville, Ola, Walker Mill, Blount, Luella, Flippen, Towalaga, McKibben, High Falls State Park, and Bonanza.
