At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Moody Air Force Base, or 7 miles northeast of Valdosta, moving west at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Nashville, Lakeland, Adel, Quitman, Valdosta, Hahira, Sparks, Ray City, I-75 At Exit 16, Moody Air Force Base, Remerton, Meigs, Dasher, Morven, Cecil, Barretts, New Lois, Massee, Greggs, and Hansell.
