At 738 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Brunswick, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Locations impacted include... Jekyll Island, High Point, Cumberland Island, and Dover Bluff.
