At 159 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles west of Clayton, or 5 miles west of Black Rock Mountain State Park, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clayton, Mountain City, Tiger, Lake Rabun, Lake Burton, Lakemont, Black Rock Mountain State Park, and Seed Lake.
