At 749 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Augusta Regional Airport to 7 miles west of Barnwell. Movement was south at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Savannah River Site, Plant Vogtle, Jackson, Snelling, Girard, Shell Bluff, Shell Bluff Landing, Audubon's Silver Bluff Sanctuary, Savannah River Site Badge Office, Savannah River Site H Canyon, Bennock Mill, and Savannah River Site K Complex.
