At 619 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Tibet to 7 miles east of Gardi. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Wayne County.
