At 814 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Everett, or 11 miles west of Darien, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Locations impacted include... Everett, Mount Pleasant, and Boys Estate.
