At 1019 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking slow-moving thunderstorms along a line extending from near Keosauqua to near Danville. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Heavy rainfall and localized flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Slowing or redirecting of traffic due to ponding or flowing water. Closure of waterfront access due to flooding. Locations impacted include... Keosauqua, New London, Bonaparte, Salem, Stockport, Cantril, Hillsboro, St. Paul, Pilot Grove, Bentonsport/Vernon, Lowell, Leando, Douds, Houghton, Geode State Park, Mount Zion, Utica, Stephenson Park, Lake Sugema Campground, and Lacey Keosauqua State Park. Rainfall amounts of 1.00 to 2.50 inches have fallen and an additional 0.50 to 1.50 inches of rain are possible.
