Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 538 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Winchester, or 18 miles south of Lapwai, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Craigmont, Winchester, and Reubens. This includes U.S. Highway 95 in Idaho between mile markers 271 and 288.
