At 542 PM MDT /442 PM PDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 35 miles south of Tarkio to 26 miles west of Darby, or extending from 36 miles northwest of Hamilton to 28 miles west of Hamilton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail....

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 542 PM MDT /442 PM PDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 35 miles south of Tarkio to 26 miles west of Darby, or extending from 36 miles northwest of Hamilton to 28 miles west of Hamilton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Powell.
