At 827 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near New Holland, or 7 miles west of Lincoln, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lincoln, Atlanta, Mount Pulaski, Emden, Hartsburg, New Holland, Chestnut, Beason, Lawndale, and Broadwell. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 between mile markers 0 and 10. Interstate 55 between mile markers 116 and 140. This also includes Edward R. Madigan State Park.
