At 429 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near San Jose to near Alexander. Movement was east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Springfield, Lincoln, Mason City, Petersburg, Athens, Chatham, Alexander, Sherman, Rochester, Riverton, Atlanta, Williamsville, New Berlin, Ashland, McLean, Pleasant Plains, Greenview, San Jose, Dawson, and Tallula. This includes the following highways... Interstate 155 between mile markers 0 and 10. Interstate 55 between mile markers 87 and 145. Interstate 72 between mile markers 73 and 111. This also includes Edward R. Madigan State Park.
