At 833 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles west of Goreville to Olive Branch to 8 miles northwest of Bloomfield. Movement was east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Paducah, Sikeston, Metropolis, Charleston, Anna, East Prairie, Cairo, Bloomfield, Vienna, Oran, La Center, Miner, Benton, Wickliffe, Lone Oak, Goreville, Brookport, Morehouse, Bertrand, and Mounds. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 1 and 7. Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 4 and 38. Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 1 and 42. Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 1 and 21. Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 59 and 86.
