At 1226 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Ridgway to near Creswell to 8 miles northeast of Hopkinsville. Movement was south at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground lightning and torrential rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hopkinsville, Madisonville, Oak Grove, Princeton, Providence, Marion, Dawson Springs, Cadiz, Eddyville, Sturgis, Shawneetown, Woodlands Nature Station, Cravens Bay Campground, Fort Campbell, Energy Lake Campground, Land Between The Lakes Area, Clarksville, Earlington, Norris City, and Nortonville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 36 and 92. Interstate 69 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 68 and 109. Western Kentucky Parkway between Mile Markers 39 and 41. Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 34.
