Bulletin details

Shallow fog has developed early this morning across portions of the area outside of Chicago and may expand in coverage. Some fog has become locally dense, with visibilities down to one quarter mile or less, especially in low lying areas and near open fields. Conditions will gradually improve after sunrise. If traveling early this morning, be prepared for sudden reductions in visibility over short distances. Slow down, use low beam headlights and increase following distances in fog. Be especially cautious in school zones.
