At 1120 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Bridgman, or 12 miles southwest of St. Joseph, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Niles, Dowagiac, Buchanan, Granger, Bridgman, Berrien Springs, Cassopolis, Edwardsburg, Stevensville, Shorewood-Tower Hill, Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert, Bertrand, Pokagon, Baroda, Eau Claire, Glendora, New Troy, Harbert, La Grange, and Sawyer. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 83 and 87. Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 10 and 22.
