At 616 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Newport, or 17 miles southeast of Danville, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Rockville, Newport, Cayuga, Kingman, Bloomingdale, Marshall, Turkey Run State Park, and Lodi.
