At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lawrence, or 12 miles northeast of Indianapolis, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Anderson, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence, McCordsville, Pendleton, Fortville, Chesterfield, Ingalls, Lapel, Edgewood, Markleville, Woodlawn Heights, Country Club Heights, River Forest, and Geist Reservoir. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 between mile markers 203 and 230. Interstate 70 between mile markers 95 and 96.
