At 1139 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over White Pigeon, or 8 miles west of Sturgis, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sturgis, Lagrange, Constantine, White Pigeon, Scott, Fawn River, Shipshewana, Brighton, Howe, Plato, Klinger Lake, and Ontario. This includes Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 109 and 129.
