At 1109 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Beech Grove, or 11 miles southeast of Indianapolis, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Greenwood, Greenfield, Beech Grove, New Palestine, Morristown, Fairland, and Boggstown. This includes the following highways... Interstate 65 between mile markers 94 and 102. Interstate 74 between mile markers 96 and 118.
