At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northeast of Bedford, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bedford, Oolitic, Medora, Norman, Heltonville, Avoca, Pleasant View, Monroe Reservoir, Fairfax State Recreation Area, Kurtz, and Bartlettsville.
