At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles west of Osgood to 6 miles northwest of North Vernon to 7 miles southwest of Columbus. Movement was southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Madison, Smyrna, Dupont, Brooksburg, Wakefield, Middlefork, Canaan, North Madison, Volga, and Manville. Winds associated with these storms will come ahead of any lightning and rains.
