At 448 AM EDT/348 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Akron, or 9 miles east of Rochester, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Huntington, Peru, Wabash, Rochester, North Manchester, Winamac, South Whitley, Culver, Akron, Andrews, Markle, Mentone, Royal Center, Mexico, Walnut, Roanoke, Warren, Lancaster, Silver Lake, and Kewanna. This includes Interstate 69 in Indiana between mile markers 274 and 291.
