At 239 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of Vevay, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Carrollton, Vevay, Warsaw, Kentucky Speedway, Pleasant, Glencoe, Ghent, Sanders, Sparta, Worthville, Prestonville, Braytown, Langstaff, Wheatley, Locust, Markland, Moorefield, and New Liberty. This includes I-71 in Kentucky between mile markers 41 and 61. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for southeastern Indiana...and northern Kentucky.
