At 928 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Beavercreek to 8 miles north of Rushville, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and very heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include... Dayton, Hamilton, Kettering, Middletown, Beavercreek, Fairfield, Richmond, Fairborn, Mason, Xenia, Trotwood, Oxford, Miamisburg, Lebanon, Springboro, Sharonville, Connersville, Wilmington, Monroe, and Loveland. This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 134 and 136. I-71 in Ohio between mile markers 20 and 61. I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 145 and 148. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 18 and 55. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM EDT for southeastern and east central Indiana...and southwestern and west central Ohio.
