At 1206 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area to Hollinger to 7 miles north of Phillipsburg. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Arapahoe, Oxford, Orleans, Holbrook, Stamford, Edison, Hollinger, and Woodruff around 1210 AM CDT. Alma around 1215 AM CDT. Republican City, Naponee, Huntley, and Harlan County Dam around 1220 AM CDT. Atlanta and Bloomington around 1225 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Holdrege, Bertrand, Elwood, Loomis, Smithfield, Ragan, Wilcox, Johnson Lake, Hildreth and Funk.
