At 211 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southwest of Scott State Lake to near Friend to 6 miles northeast of Deerfield. Movement was southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Scott City, Holcomb, Shallow Water, and Friend around 215 AM CDT. Garden City around 225 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Pierceville.
