At 555 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Yellow Rock, or near Beattyville. These storms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Beattyville, Booneville, Turin, Travellers Rest, White Ash, Blake, Southfork, Pinnacle, Cowcreek, Grass, Chestnut Gap, Earnestville, Scoville, Ida May, Delvinta, Lerose, Evelyn, Levi, Caryton, and Belle Point.
