At 1251 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fort Gay to Blairs Mills to Bourbon Furnace. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Morehead, Paintsville, West Liberty, Salyersville, Owingsville, Inez, Sandy Hook, Frenchburg, Marshall, Henry, Lewis, Wellington, Salt Lick, Zag, Pilgrim, Oaklawn Estates, Florress, Elliottville, Davella, and Lick Branch. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 58 and 59, and between mile markers 68 and 69. Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers 120 and 149. Kentucky Highway 3 in Johnson County Kentucky Highway 3 in Martin County between mile markers 1 and 9. U.S. Highway 23 in Johnson County between mile markers 0 and 16.
