At 622 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Coal Grove, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Huntington, Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Chesapeake, Proctorville, Cannonsburg, Barboursville, Kenova, Catlettsburg, Ceredo, Flatwoods, South Point, Russell, Raceland, Worthington, Burlington, Wurtland, Bellefonte, and Aid. This includes the following highways... Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 188 and 191. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 6 and 20.
