At 849 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Kerz, or near Paintsville, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Paintsville, Kerz, Tutor Key, Wells Chapel, Stambaugh, Galen, Whitehouse, Bobbs, Boons Camp, Flatgap, Chestnut, Williamsport, River, Winifred, Nippa, Offutt, Sip, Wittensville, Chandlerville, and Staffordsville. THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Johnson County between mile markers 8 and 16.
