At 249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Meally, or near Paintsville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Paintsville, Prestonsburg, Oaklawn Estates, Tutor Key, East Point, Fitz, Wells Chapel, Davella, Thelma, Meally, Thealka, Collista, West Van Lear, Delong, Williamsport, River, Nippa, Offutt, Buffalo, and Hagerhill. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Kentucky Highway 3 in Floyd County between mile markers 3 and 4. Kentucky Highway 3 in Johnson County Kentucky Highway 3 in Martin County between mile markers 1 and 9.
