At 831 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tillie, or near Whitesburg, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Whitesburg, Letcher, Bath, Jenkins, Fleming-Neon, Blackey, Winters, Horn, Oscaloosa, Van, Pine Top, Colly, Isom, Premium, Cromona, Nealy, Trailer, Payne Gap, Colson, and Sergent. THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 1 and 5.
